I have a family to take care of, a small baby, a fiancé who works hard all week to bring home a measly salary and a government who would rather give money to people who literally just have children so they don’t have to work.

I watch TV usually! We watch a lot of american TV so we usually marathon shows so I have plenty of knitting time!
If I’m using a pattern and can’t memorise it, Chris will play on the PS3 and I’ll knit away! As long as Mackenzie permits it, of course!

I'm thinking of knitting a changing bag!
The crappy one we bought when Mackenzie was first born is on it’s last legs and we can’t really afford to go and buy a new one! So I’m contemplating knitting a temporary one to tide us over and keep baby bums clean and fresh all day. I may have to spend a bit of money on the yarn though… But the way I see it, I can spend £10 on yarn and have a bag that won’t fall...

At the end of May, I’m off to London for the day for the MCM expo.
I physically cannot sit in a car for a total of 7 hours with nothing to knit but all my WIPs need patterns, and car sickness is a mega issue with me.
What is a gal to do in this situation?

Many a time I have stabbed the squishy bit under my thumb with my 3.25mm needles…
I have had blisters and various other lesions because of it. I also once pulled a nail out because my needle got caught underneath…
I am the clumsiest person ever so knitting always comes with injuries!

I haven’t really worked from many patterns, and the ones I have worked from haven’t been from a specific designer as such!

It varies! I love wool/acrylic blends because I’m too stingy with my limited finances to buy 100% wool or them posh yarns!
My favourite yarn brand at the moment Stylecraft! The Special range is so wonderfully soft and inexpensive! :D
